TermoPlus (TermoShop D.o.o.) has, for a second consecutive year, been named a leader for the renewable heating transition in Europe – amongst a select group of 17 frontrunning manufacturers.

The European Environmental Bureau has just released its latest Industry Audit of European Heating Manufacturers on behalf of the Coolproducts campaign. The audit is a ranking exercise that rates domestic heating firms according to the climate-friendliness of their portfolios.

According to the report, time is running out for the EU to decarbonize the heating sector. If fossil fuel boilers continue to be installed in European buildings beyond 2025, there is a risk that they will still be in place in 2050. Heating decarbonization is also key to reduce the EU’s dependency on fossil gas.

With the growing concerns that the energy crisis brings it is important to focus on solutions that can start shaping the future immediately. We’re happy to see other manufacturers also supporting a ban on subsidies for outdated and inefficient fossil fuel based heating products. Having surpassed €1b in energy savings for our clients over the last 30+ years of manufacturing heat pumps, we know that every single installation counts.” says Jure Šacer, CEO of TermoPlus.
